Craig graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University in Melbourne. He also has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physical Education from Victoria University of Technology and an Associates in Arts degree from Texas, USA.
Craig is the principal physiotherapist and owner /director of Ormond Physiotherapy and has been at the clinic for 15 years working in all areas of business management while maintaining a clinical caseload in physiotherapy, pilates and personal training.
He has worked with both AFL and amateur football clubs as a physiotherapist and has experience with local sporting teams in tennis, swimming, cricket, hockey, baseball and bowls.
Clinically Craig has worked in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, private physiotherapy practice and the fitness industry. Craig has a particular interest in orthotics, shoulder injuries, dry needling and business management.
He currently works and liaises with local gyms, health and fitness centres, sporting clubs, industry, community groups, insurance companies and schools in his dual role as Physiotherapist and Director at Ormond Physiotherapy.
Craig is currently a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is involved in the local community as a local Ormond business trader.
Taidgh has recently joined the team after moving over to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand. Taidgh has experience within the musculoskeletal private practice setting and graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy).
Taidgh has a special interest for sports physiotherapy, athlete management, injury prevention, strength and conditioning and empowering people on the journey to recovery.
Taidgh will be an important member of our physiotherapy team and pilates team leading both individual and group sessions.
Outside of work Taidgh enjoys socialising with friends, watching sport, listening to music and enjoying the great outdoors.
Kylie graduated in 2008 from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
Kylie has a specialised private practice bias with 10 years experience in musculo-skeletal injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation, clinical pilates, dry needling, sports injuries and women’s health.
Kylie has working with AFL, soccer, netball and rugby clubs as a physiotherapist treating a variety of sports and impact injuries.
Kylie has played competitive soccer and netball for 15 years and understands the importance of a quick returns to activity and the power or immediate treatment to get back on the field as soon as possible.
Joanne is originally from Scotland and has a Masters of Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University where she graduated with distinction in 2015.
Joanne has worked with elite youth sporting clubs and provided her expertise at numerous major sporting events such as the Edinburgh Marathon.
Joanne has enjoys many sports such as running and triathlons, sailing, skiing and plays the violin. She also loves to travel.
Joanne will be working at Ormond Physiotherapy full time providing physiotherapy, clinical pilates and hydrotherapy.
REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST/PERSONAL TRAINER/PILATES
Teagan joined the team at Ormond Physiotherapy in February, 2016 as a Remedial Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer. Teagan has a strong background in sports training with AFL, cricket and gym training.
Teagan has completed a Diploma of Massage Therapy and Personal Training qualification from the Australian College of Sports Therapy in 2015 and has a sports trainers certificate also.
Teagan has experience in deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, relaxation massage and exercise prescription coupled with her personal training and pilates interests.
Teagan works at Ormond Physiotherapy Monday to Thursday and Saturdays as the key massage therapist and has started in our exercise group pilates program and personal training program. Teagan also works with a womens AFL team and is a state league cricket player herself.
Teagan is also a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association.
REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
Dale completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage therapy in 2018 at the Melbourne Institute of Massage and Myotherapy in Melbourne and is also currently studying Myotherapy at RMIT to obtain his Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy.
Dale has a history working as a personal trainer in health and fitness and is passionate about health from a holistic and multidisciplinary point of view.
Dale has experience in deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy and cupping.
Outside of work Dale has a strong passion for coffee, enjoys walking his dog and relaxing with friends.
Dale works at Ormond Physiotherapy Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Dale is also member of the Myotherapy Association Australia.
Amber joined the team at Ormond Physiotherapy in 2015 as a pilates instructor and exercise instructor and works as a key member of our exercise group pilates program.
Amber qualified as a pilates instructor from Breathe Pilates Institute in 2014 and has a special interest in group exercise classes, reformer pilates , personal training and exercise rehabilitation.
Amber is typically available at the clinic on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Lauren has recently joined the Ormond Physiotherapy team as an exercise pilates instructor.She typically works Thursdays as well as some Saturdays.
Lauren completed her mat pilates certification at Studio Pilates and her reformer pilates certification at Balance and Control Pilates. She has a special interest in exercise rehabilitation as well as pre-natal and post-natal pilates.
Lauren has always had an interest in dance and through her pilates journey has realised the benefits of pilates for dancers and for everyone.
